A small studio with a production mindset.

Pyrrforge is the brand of Pyrrait & Espírito Santo, Lda, a software company registered in Portugal. We are a product studio: we build and operate our own applications end to end, owning everything from the cloud infrastructure to the interface.

The name is deliberate. A forge takes raw material and, with heat and iteration, turns it into something that holds an edge. That's how we treat software — shaped through real use, hardened in production, and maintained for the long run.

AI as a collaborator, not a feature

We build with AI in two senses. Our products use AI at their core — reading receipts, organising a household, answering questions grounded in your own data. And our engineering process treats AI as a collaborator: it accelerates how we design, write and review code, while human judgment stays responsible for every line that ships.

That combination lets a small team ship software with the depth of a much larger one — without compromising on the fundamentals: automated testing, continuous deployment, monitoring, and clear ownership of everything we run.

What we're building toward

Our current focus is consumer and small-business tools that remove tedious, error-prone work — starting with expenses and the day-to-day running of a household. Receipt Manager is live today; House Brain is in active development, with a native iOS app as the next milestone.
